The Town of Freetown, MA contracted with CAI Technologies to create a GIS layer showing the location of Water Customers. To accomplish this, the Town provided CAI an Excel file containing information pertaining to those customers who were receiving water service in the Town. The resulting GIS layer then was added into the AxisGIS platform making the data available to the staff and public through a searchable mapping interface. CAI’s online GIS services are contracted in over 500 communities aiding departments such as Assessing, Code Enforcement, Engineering, Planning, Public Safety, Public Works and others to do their jobs more effectively and efficiently.
