Farmington, ME selects CAI to convert their existing AutoCAD Tax Map data into geodatabase format and perform annual Tax Map updates. The conversion of Tax Map data to geodatabase format will allow for a more streamlined editing process and reduce the Town’s annual expense for Tax Map updates. CAI already provides hosting of GIS and Assessing data in our AxisGIS service. With the conversion of data to geodatabase format not only will the Town save money for Tax Map updates, but the Town can also increase the frequency of updates to the parcel layer to as often as weekly.
