Westbrook, ME GIS integration with MyGov Permitting Software. As the City’s GIS Consultant, CAI successfully integrated their GIS mapping into their newly acquired MyGov Permitting software. This integration was key in the City’s efforts to streamline the permitting process and for creating work orders. Taking advantage of the nightly update to GIS from the City’s assessing database, CAI worked with MyGov to consume parcel and ownership information via an ESRI map service. This method allows City staff to maintain ownership information in a single database, but be incorporated into several different applications. Sewer and Stormwater GIS features were also imported into the MyGov application enabling staff to create work orders on these assets.
