Fair Haven, VT having been awarded a Coronavirus Municipal Digitizing Grant through the State of VT, has contracted with CAI add additional features to their AxisGIS platform. AxisGIS serves as the communities GIS and provides access to data layers and Assessment information to staff and the public. Features being added to the site include setting up a Staff only version that will include a Document Upload Tool enabling specific users the ability to link PDF documents to a parcel, a Batch Upload Utility that will allow the Town to update building photos and sketches available in AxisGIS on a regular basis, and a direct link to the Town’s online Land Records site will be accessible when viewing parcel details in AxisGIS. The addition of these features to the Town’s AxisGIS service will enable them to provide the public access to more information in a timely and efficient manner, a primary objective of the Grant.
