Bar Harbor, ME has selected CAI to provide our AxisGIS PRO Service. AxisGIS will replace the Town’s existing GIS Viewer solution.
AxisGIS is Software as a Service (SaaS) that is contracted in over 575 communities helping answer location-based questions, visualize geographic information and explore geospatial feature data. AxisGIS Pro is developed using the ESRI JavaScript 4.X API which provides a responsive user interface that is cross browser compatible and functional in a mobile environment. AxisGIS Pro is functioning as a front-end GIS application using the Town’s ArcGIS Online (AGOL) organization as the authoritative GIS data source. This integration with their AGOL provides the Town a tremendous amount of power and enhanced capabilities for customizing the basemap and feature content available to the user community.
CAI’s robust and simple to use tools complement the AxisGIS mapping platform with the latest industry leading ESRI technologies which supports the Town’s spatial connections between individuals, departments, and their critical business systems. This advanced but yet simple and easy to use web GIS service is configured to distribute the Town’s GIS data layers from a variety of Departments and Assessment information to the public and internal staff through an intuitive interface. AxisGIS will support departments such as Assessing, Planning, Code Enforcement, Public Works, Waste Water, Water and Public Safety with better decision-making ability and geospatial data sharing to do their jobs more effectively and efficiently. https://www.axisgis.com/Bar_HarborME
