Carthage, ME – CAI Technologies recently finished a Town wide parcel remapping project for the Town. Experienced CAI staff conducted record research for every parcel listed in the Town’s assessment database. Once all parcels were compiled from available survey plans and deeds, a new Tax Map grid was created and all parcels assigned a new unique parcel number. Prior to producing the final maps CAI staff conducted a public review session which allowed land owners to review and present information should they believe edits to the maps were necessary. All data was delivered to the Town in ESRI compatible formats as well as hosted by CAI in an AxisGIS service.
AxisGIS is an advanced, yet simple and user-friendly, web-based GIS service accessible on any device with a standard web browser. We configured AxisGIS to provide Town staff and the public with searchable access to the Town’s GIS data layers and Trio Assessment information.
