Windham Water Works and Windham Water Pollution Control Authority have contracted with CAI to map their systems as well as provide training and software to support additional mapping and ongoing maintenance. CAI currently provides GIS services to the Town of Windham, CT and the utilities we be able to take advantage of CAI’s AxisGIS platform already in place. CAI staff will be on-site performing GPS data collection and mapping over 130 miles of Water and Sanitary Sewer Systems at sub foot accuracy. Once the mapping is completed, CAI shall setup and configure our AxisGIS Editor Service and Collector for ArcGIS allowing the utilities to maintain the GIS data created by CAI. On-site training will be provided to staff on how to use their new GPS equipment to collect additional features and maintenance of the GIS data using Editor and Collector. Tools are also being configured to allow the Water Works to link scanned Meter Cards to features in the GIS.
