Somersworth, NH was looking for a way to efficiently utilize and distribute GIS data, and as a result selected CAI’s AxisGIS platform. AxisGIS is a simple easy to use web based service accessible across all common web browsers and mobile devices. GIS data layers such as Parcels, Zoning, Floodplains, Infrastructure, etc. are available to Staff and the public through this service. AxisGIS was configured to allow the City the ability to regularly update the Patriot Assessment data hosted and linked to the parcels in AxisGIS. Additionally, City staff through a secure login have access to select GIS data layers not available to the public. CAI’s AxisGIS platform is contracted in nearly 300 communities.
