Norwood, MA expands use of GIS technologies by adding AxisGIS Editor and additional dynamic map layers to complement existing AxisGIS and ArcGIS Online services. Working with CAI, the Town was able to secure a Compact Community IT Grant to support further GIS implementation. CAI shall be setting up dynamic map layers in the Town’s existing AxisGIS service to render attribute information from the Assessor’s database creating layers showing Neighborhood codes, Land Use Codes, Sales (last three years and Assessed value to Sale price ratio), as well as year built. For DPW, CAI will be setting up and configuring AxisGIS Editor in combination with Collector for ArcGIS allowing the Town to maintain their Sewer and Stormwater data layers.
